About

Hi, I’m Liz. I’m a Brooklyn-based producer, director, and editor who likes making videos about interesting people, ideas, and the things they care about.

I’ve spent the last decade working across documentary, branded, corporate, and social content. Depending on the project, that can mean building a crew and running a shoot, directing interviews, digging through hours of footage to find the story, or taking a project all the way from an idea to the final edit. Most often, it’s some combination of all of the above.

The part I like most is talking to people. I’m endlessly curious, I ask a lot of questions, and I’m always looking for the unexpected detail or moment that makes someone worth listening to. I think the best interviews happen when people stop thinking about the camera and start actually talking to you.

Over the years, I’ve worked with everyone from major brands and television networks to artists, nonprofits, small businesses, and people who had never been on camera before. The subject matter changes, but my approach doesn’t: do the research, keep things simple, make people comfortable, and find the story that’s actually there.

When I’m not making videos, I’m probably running around Brooklyn, eating something good, or forming an unnecessarily strong opinion about a movie, restaurant, or reality TV show.

I still believe in the power of good falafel, good writing, and good people.
